Why We Built This Calculator

Every time we planned a new trip, we ended up juggling six different websites: fuel price trackers, toll maps, ferry schedules, hotel estimates, currency converters… and still got the numbers wrong.

We’ve had trips where our “budget plan” fell apart within 3 days. Fuel was more expensive in some countries. Tolls added up. Campsites were full or double the price. It’s stressful… and avoidable.

So we built this calculator to answer the questions we kept Googling:

Here’s where we’ve personally been caught out the most.

We didn’t realise how much accommodation prices jump through summer! One site we stayed at cost only €19 in winter but a whopping €50 per night in July!. And since most campsites aren’t listed on booking sites, we had no clue until we turned up.
